Testimonials

What players say.

Good to know before you roll

A few common questions.

I have never played. Is this for me?

Absolutely. New players are welcome at any table, and you can arrive without knowing a rule or owning a thing. If you would like a gentler first step, Learn to Play is a complete mini-adventure built for beginners. Bring a best friend, partner or family member and make it a memorable date night or shared first adventure. Character options, dice and patient guidance are provided, and rules are introduced as they become useful.

What is Dungeons & Dragons?

Dungeons & Dragons is a collaborative role-playing game. You create a character, describe what they do and work with the other players to face a living story shaped by your choices. The Dungeon Master presents the world, plays its characters and responds to the unexpected plans your group invents. No acting experience is required, and there is no single right way to play.

Where are games hosted?

Most games are hosted in a comfortable, dedicated private game room in southwest Edmonton, near 23 Avenue and Rabbit Hill Road. It is an easy drive from the Anthony Henday, Whitemud Drive, Calgary Trail and Terwillegar Drive, with straightforward access from across Edmonton and nearby communities such as Leduc and Spruce Grove. The room is designed for relaxed, immersive in-person play. Alternate venues and travel can be discussed for private events.

Can our whole group book together?

Yes. Friends who already play together can stay together, with private one-shots, multi-session adventures and longer campaigns shaped around your group. We can also build a memorable date night, family event, birthday gathering or team experience for a workplace or community group.

What do I need to bring?

Just yourself. Dice, reference materials, miniatures and everything needed at the table are provided. You are welcome to bring favourite dice or a character notebook.

What adventures are available?

Start with the current open tables to see what is forming now. The wider library spans official fifth-edition Dungeons & Dragons adventures and standout settings from Arcanum Worlds, with heroic fantasy, gothic horror, high-seas exploration, mythic journeys, infernal danger, frozen frontiers and whimsical discovery. We can match a table to the tone, experience level and kind of story your group wants, including hidden gems such as Odyssey of the Dragonlords, Stygian Passage, Chains of Asmodeus, Reavers of Oath and Ruin in the frozen world of Grimnir, and upcoming original adventures such as Malborn.

What happens if I need to miss a session?

Please give as much notice as possible. Cancellation, credit and make-up options depend on the table and booking format and will be clearly outlined before you reserve.

Which version of Dungeons & Dragons do you use?

Games can use either the 2014 or 2024 fifth-edition rules. Most published adventures convert cleanly, so we will choose the version that best fits the table and make it clear before play. If you already own a Player’s Handbook or have a preferred rules set, mention it when you inquire. You do not need to buy a book to join.
